In 2009 the Serrano brothers leased one bay and a forklift in Medley and started consolidating container freight for two importer friends who were tired of paying for storage they could not see.
That is genuinely how it began. Hector had spent eleven years on receiving docks around Miami; Oscar handled the paperwork and the customers. The pitch was simple and it has not changed: we treat your inventory like it is ours, we count it honestly, and we pick up the phone when something looks wrong instead of burying it in a monthly report.
Word moved the way it does in this business — one importer told another over cafecito — and by 2014 the single bay had become a building. In 2019 we moved into our current home on NW 25th Street in Doral, five miles from Miami International, and kept growing into it. Today that building is 142,000 square feet with 31 dock doors, ambient, climate-held and bonded zones, and a sister cross-dock in Laredo, Texas for the overland freight coming up from Mexico.
We are bigger, but we are not a faceless 3PL. You will know the people on your account by name, and at least one of them will answer in Spanish or English depending on which is easier for you. We still walk the floor every morning. And we still would rather lose a deal than over-promise a transit time we cannot hit.
Inventory is money sitting on a shelf.
